Our client in energy and electricity industry aimed to reduce manual vegetation inspection costs by 35% through innovative use of spatial data and automation technologies.

Approach

Rmkble team applied an agile, product-centric approach using Lean Inception and Capability-Based Planning to define an MVP. Working with partners like Nearmap, the team trialled photogrammetry and Azure spatial services to detect vegetation encroachment and support data-driven maintenance.

Outcome

The MVP successfully demonstrated the ability to identify vegetation risks using aerial imagery and AI, delivering insights to field contractors and providing a blueprint for ascalable, automated vegetation management model.
